PaintMargin provides field-estimating software for painting professionals. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name and email address; workspace and estimating information you enter; and content you upload, including job notes, measurements, room details, transcripts, and photos.

We also collect technical and usage information such as browser type, device information, pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic logs.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the service, create and store estimates, improve product performance, understand feature usage, prevent abuse, and communicate about your account.

Analytics and cookies

PaintMargin uses Google Analytics to understand visits and product conversion events. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and receive information about your browser, device, interactions, and approximate location. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.

Service providers

We use service providers to host the application, authenticate users, store data, monitor performance, and analyze usage. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. Current infrastructure includes Supabase and Google Analytics.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers, when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect against abuse. We use account isolation and reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You may update account information, limit browser cookies, or request access, correction, or deletion through the support or contact channel provided in the service. Some information may be retained where legally required.

Children

PaintMargin is a business service and is not directed to children under 13.
